Tranquil Villages Embodying a Slow Living Experience
These peaceful and quiet villages, with fewer than 300 inhabitants, are surrounded by incredible nature and filled with bohemian stone houses that transport us to another time. Every time I pass through this area, I am amazed by the beauty and tranquility that fills the air. It’s intangible and inexplicable, as I have been looking at the same view for 40 years, yet it never fails to impress me anew.
The settlements Ivan Dolac, Zavala i Sv . Nedelja are located near the most beautiful beaches on the island. They are very quiet and peaceful, and offer abundance for families with small children. Here, you won’t find many restaurants, bars, or even larger grocery stores. What will definitely greet you is a true summer #islandstateofmind. Be sure to visit the restaurant and winery Zlatan Otok in Sv. Nedelja. and take a stroll to the viewpoint Veli Kamik at the end of the promenade.
